How does it work?

Here’s a few things that are good to know before attending your first online session

Nope! not at all. You don’t need any previous experience with kundalini, energy work or breathwork. The session is guided throughout, so you can simply come as you are
The energy transmission isn’t dependent on being physically in the same room. The session is held live over Zoom, allowing you to receive the transmission from the comfort of your own space.
A quiet, comfortable space where you can lie down undisturbed for the duration of the session. You can lay on a bed or on the floor with something under you like a yoga mat.
You’ll also need a stable internet connection, your camera on throughout the session and a paid Spotify subscription.
We’ll begin with a short introduction and some breathwork before moving into the energy transmission. You’ll then lie down, get comfortable and surrender to the experience. Towards the end, everything will slow down so you have space to integrate before we gently close the session.
Nope. There’s nothing to perform, achieve or make happen. Your role is simply to get comfortable, surrender and allow yourself to receive. Your body may naturally respond through movement, shaking, emotions, sensations, sounds or simply deep rest, there is no right or wrong experience
That’s completely okay. Every experience is different and there’s no particular way you’re supposed to feel or respond. You don’t need to have a big or dramatic experience for the session to be meaningful.
Your camera will remain on throughout the session so that I can hold the space and stay connected with you and your energy as you move through the experience
If on a group call everyone will be laying down with their eyes closed, so no one else will be seeing your session other than myself
You’re welcome to let whatever naturally arises move through you. You can make sounds, move, cry, laugh or simply stay still. This is your space and there is nothing you need to hide or apologise for
We’ll allow some time for integration before gently coming back together. We’ll then close the session and you’ll have the opportunity to share anything that came up for you or ask any questions.
The full session is approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours, giving us plenty of time for the opening, transmission, integration and closing without needing to rush
The format and environment are different, but the energy transmission can still be received online. Some people love the comfort and privacy of experiencing a session from their own space, while others prefer the energy of being held in a physical space with others. Both can offer a powerful experience, it really comes down to what feels right for you. You could always explore both options if you wanted to!

What happens during a session?

Welcome

As we arrive into the space together, I will talk through everything to expect from the session and working with Kundalini Energy

In group settings everyone stays muted throughout, until the end of the session where there is an optional sharing circle. For 1:1’s we will discuss what has brought you to the session and anything you’re working through that could be relevant to the session

Dropping into the body

Whilst seated we will begin the Spotify playlist together, before moving into a short breathwork practice to help move out of the mind and drop into the body

This stage may also involve some somatic enquiry and questions to support you in connecting with your body and anything you are holding that day

Receiving

We will then move into the energy transmission, where there is nothing for you to do but lie back, surrender and allow your life force energy to awaken and move through your body

You may experience a range of sensations throughout the transmission, from changes in temperature, tingling and emotions arising, to small movements such as twitching or trembling and larger movements such as swaying, tapping or thumping

You may also feel called to shout, scream, sing or speak. If this arises, you’re encouraged to honour it and allow the energy to express itself through you. You will be muted during the session, however if you’re conscious of being heard in your space, it can be helpful to have a pillow nearby to soften any louder sounds if needed

There is no right or wrong way to experience the transmission, this is a practice of allowing your body to respond in whatever way feels natural to you

Integration

As the energy transmission comes to an end, everything begins to slow down and soften. You’ll be given space to rest and simply be with whatever has moved through you

This is a time for your body and nervous system to process and integrate the experience, without needing to analyse or make sense of anything straight away

You may feel deeply relaxed, emotional, peaceful, energised or simply still. Whatever you’re experiencing, there is no need to change it, this is your time to rest, receive and allow the experience to settle

Closing

We’ll gently bring you back into the space, taking a little time to reconnect with your surroundings and the present moment

In group sessions, there will also be an optional sharing circle where you’re invited to share a little about your experience, if you feel called to. There’s absolutely no pressure to speak — you’re welcome to simply listen and take in the experience of the group
