transformational breathwork
-
Breathwork is the practice of consciously changing the way you breathe to support your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
The breath is one of the few systems in the body that works both automatically and consciously, making it a powerful bridge between the mind and body. By changing the way we breathe, we can influence our nervous system, shift our energy and access parts of ourselves that talking alone can't always reach.
Transformational Breathwork is a 90 minute somatic healing experience using an active conscious, connected breathing pattern to support deep healing and self-discovery. Rather than analysing your experiences through the mind, this practice invites you to connect with the innate wisdom of your body, creating space for stored stress, emotions and patterns to surface, be processed and released.
-
Transformational Breathwork can support your wellbeing on many levels.
Many people leave a session feeling lighter, calmer and more connected. As the body lets go of held stress and emotional tension, there can be a renewed sense of spaciousness, clarity and ease. What once felt overwhelming can begin to feel more manageable, creating room for new perspectives, deeper self-understanding and lasting change.
For some, the greatest transformation comes from from finally feeling safe enough to express what has been held inside. Whether that looks like tears, laughter, stillness or simply taking a deeper breath than you have in a long time, being witnessed in a compassionate, non-judgemental space can be profoundly healing.
With regular practice, breathwork may also support:
Nervous system regulation
Reduced stress and anxiety
Greater emotional resilience
Increased self-awareness
Improved sleep and relaxation
More energy and mental clarity
A deeper connection to yourself and your body
-
We begin each session by settling into the space. I'll explain the breathwork technique we'll be using, what to expect throughout the journey and answer any questions you may have before we begin.
Once you're comfortably settled, we'll ease in with a short grounding practice and gentle breathwork to help you arrive in your body before moving into the main conscious connected breathing technique. Throughout the session, carefully curated music supports the journey, creating a safe and immersive space to explore your inner experience.
Following the breathwork, there is time to rest and integrate before we gently return. In group sessions, you'll be invited to share your experience if you'd like to, but there is absolutely no pressure, sometimes the most powerful integration happens in quiet reflection.
-
Transformational Breathwork is for anyone who feels ready to explore themselves on a deeper level.
You don't need any previous experience, just an open mind and willingness to be present with whatever arises.
Whether you're feeling stressed, emotionally stuck, disconnected from yourself, navigating a period of change, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of who you are, this practice offers a space to reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been waiting to be felt, witnessed and expressed.
While every session is unique, the more you're able to let go of expectations and trust the process, the more opportunity there is for meaningful insight, healing and transformation.
However Transformational Breathwork isn't suitable for anyone with certain medical conditions or during pregnancy, please review the contraindications in the booking form or get in touch before booking so we can ensure this practice is right for you.
-
Transformational Breathwork creates the conditions for your body to express what may have been beneath the surface and every journey looks different.
It's common for emotions to arise during a session. This might include feelings of grief, sadness, anger or shame, but also laughter, joy, gratitude, peace or even moments of bliss.
Whatever arises is welcome. The healing isn't in forcing emotions away, but in creating a safe space for them to be felt, acknowledged and gently released. Often, it's this process of allowing emotions to surface, rather than suppressing or avoiding them, that can leave you feeling lighter, freer and more connected to yourself.
Working with the breath can also bring about physical sensations. You may experience tingling, warmth, chills, shaking, twitching, swaying, spontaneous movement or temporary muscle cramping (known as tetany). While these sensations can feel unfamiliar, they are a common response to this style of breathing and will pass. You are always in control of your session and can slow down at any time if anything feels too overwhelming or uncomfortable.
Others may notice very little during the session itself, only to experience greater clarity, emotional shifts or a deeper sense of calm in the hours or days that follow. Neither experience is better than the other.
It's also completely normal for your mind to wander. There's nothing you need to force or achieve, simply noticing when your attention drifts and gently returning to your breath is all part of the practice.
There is no ‘right’ way to experience breathwork. Your body will only ever meet you where you feel safe and ready and every experience has something to offer.
-
Yes. Breathwork is generally very safe when guided by a trained facilitator.
My sessions are trauma-informed and your wellbeing is always my highest priority. These sessions are not about chasing emotional releases or intense experiences. Instead, they create a supportive space where you can gently explore whatever arises, at a pace that feels safe and manageable for your nervous system.
You are always in control. You're welcome to pause, slow your breathing or return to your natural breath at any point during the session. My role is to guide and support you throughout, ensuring you feel safe, held and empowered in your experience.
For some people, this style of breathwork isn't appropriate. If you have certain medical conditions or are pregnant, please review the contraindications before booking or get in touch if you're unsure whether this practice is right for you.
-
Some people experience a profound shift after just one session, while others find that regular practice helps create deeper and more lasting change.
It's completely natural to arrive at your first session feeling a little apprehensive or nervous. Often it’s that the first experience is simply about becoming familiar with the practice, learning to trust your breath and allowing your nervous system to become familiar with the experience. As that trust grows, many people find they're able to surrender more deeply, opening the door to greater insight, healing and transformation.
Just like going to the gym or practising meditation, consistency allows the benefits to build over time. Each session meets you exactly where you are, often revealing new layers of awareness and helping you develop a deeper sense of trust in yourself and your body.
You're welcome to come whenever you feel called, whether that's for a single journey or as part of an ongoing practice.
kundalini energy healing
-
Kundalini energy, also known as Life Force energy, Prana, Chi, Shakti or Qi, is a vital energy that rests at the base of the spine. We all have access to this energy, although it often lies dormant as we move through life and accumulate stress, unresolved emotions and energetic blockages.
Our energy naturally shifts in response to our lived experiences. When this life force energy is activated, it begins to move through the body, supporting the release of energetic blocks and encouraging a greater sense of balance, vitality and connection.
You may notice that I use the terms Kundalini Activation and Kundalini Energy Healing interchangeably. Both refer to the same practice: An energy transmission that supports the awakening of your own innate life force energy.
As a facilitator, I don't give or manipulate your energy. Instead, I create the conditions for your own energy to awaken and move in the way that's most supportive for you.
-
Whilst every experience is unique, many people leave sessions feeling calmer, lighter and more connected to themselves.
This practice may support the release of physical tension and held stress, encourage nervous system regulation, and promote a greater sense of rest, vitality and overall wellbeing.
Emotionally, it can create space to process and release stored emotions, build resilience and help you navigate life's challenges with greater presence and ease.
Many people also experience a deeper connection to their intuition, increased clarity and focus, a renewed sense of purpose, and the confidence to let go of limiting patterns, reconnect with their authentic self and move through life with greater freedom.
-
This practice offers a sacred space to reconnect with your inner wisdom and awaken your own life force energy.
As a facilitator, I am not giving, taking or manipulating your energy. Instead, through my own activated energy, I create a space where your energy system is invited to resonate with a higher frequency. The intelligence of your own body then guides the experience, allowing it to unfold in the way that is most supportive for you.
As your body begins to resonate with this energy, emotions, patterns and stored experiences that are ready to be released may gently rise to the surface. For some, this can include grief, anger, sadness, joy, deep peace or moments of profound insight. Every experience is unique, and there is no right or wrong way for the session to unfold.
Over time, this life force energy moves through the energy centres of the body, helping to release energetic blockages and supporting a deeper connection to the heart. As this process unfolds, many people experience greater clarity, openness, vitality and a stronger sense of connection to themselves.
The foundation of this practice is surrender. Rather than trying to make something happen or analyse the experience, you're invited to simply let go and allow the process to unfold in its own way.
There is nothing to force or achieve. The more you soften, stay present and observe whatever arises with curiosity, the more space you create for the energy to move where it is needed. Each session is unique, and your body has its own innate intelligence that guides the experience.
-
A Kundalini Activation Ceremony is a sacred space for transformation, offering you the opportunity to release what no longer serves you and reconnect with your truest self.
Each session begins by settling into the space together. I'll guide you through what to expect, explain how the energy works and answer any questions you may have. We'll then begin with a breathwork practice to help you connect with your body, quiet the mind and prepare to receive.
When you're ready, you'll simply lie down as the Kundalini Activation begins. There is nothing you need to do or try to make happen. This is a practice of surrender rather than effort. Your role is simply to remain present with your experience, noticing any sensations, emotions, movements or insights that arise.
The entire journey is supported by carefully curated music, creating a safe and immersive environment that allows you to fully settle into the experience.
Throughout the session, I may use gentle, intuitive touch on certain energy points of the body to support the flow of energy and encourage greater openness within the system. This touch is always respectful and entirely optional. You'll always be asked for your consent beforehand and you're welcome to decline or withdraw consent at any point.
Towards the end of the session, we'll move into a period of integration. This is a deeply important part of the practice, giving your body and nervous system time to process and integrate whatever has arisen. It allows you to rest in the shifts that have taken place before gently returning to your day, helping you leave feeling more grounded, connected and aligned.

Kundalini Activations may be right for you if you're feeling called to explore yourself on a deeper level.
Many people come to this work because, despite doing all the right things, they still feel stuck, disconnected or know there's something more waiting for them. You might already have explored practices like therapy or journalling and be looking for something that works with the body as well as the mind.
You don't need to be spiritual or have any previous experience with energy work. All that's required is an open mind, a willingness to surrender to the experience and a curiosity to explore what might unfold.
Kundalini Activation isn't about being fixed or chasing extraordinary experiences. It's a practice of coming home to yourself, allowing your body to release what it's ready to let go of and reconnecting with your own inner wisdom.
For your safety, Kundalini Activation isn't suitable for everyone. Before booking, please take a moment to review the medical contraindications. If you have any questions or are unsure whether this practice is right for you, I'd be more than happy to chat and help you decide if it feels like the right fit.

Every Kundalini Activation experience is unique.
Some people experience spontaneous, involuntary movements of the body. These can range from subtle muscle twitches, shaking or stretching to more expressive movements. Others may experience emotional release through tears, laughter or vocal expression, while some simply feel a deep sense of peace, warmth, tingling or stillness.
From an Eastern perspective, these expressions are seen as part of the body's natural energetic purification process as life force energy moves through the system. From a Western perspective, they can be understood as the nervous system unwinding tension and releasing long-held patterns of stress. Whatever lens resonates most with you, these responses are considered a natural part of the experience.
It's important to remember that visible movements are not a measure of how much is happening. Some people have physical experiences, while others experience the energy in much quieter but equally profound ways. Neither is better than the other.
The practice isn't about chasing a particular outcome but about meeting yourself with openness, curiosity and trust, allowing your body to receive exactly what it needs in that moment.
-
Yes, when facilitated by a trained practitioner, Kundalini Activation is considered a safe practice for most people.
Your experience is guided by the innate intelligence of your own body, and you remain in control throughout the session.
However Kundalini is not recommended for individuals prone to mania or psychosis, pregnant women, or anyone under the age of 18. Please carefully review the full list of contraindications on the booking form.

There isn't a set number of sessions that everyone needs. Every person's journey is unique.
Some people experience a profound shift after their very first session, while for others the experience unfolds more gradually.
Many of us carry experiences, emotions and protective patterns that have built up over years, sometimes decades. It's only natural that meaningful healing and transformation take time. While a single session can be deeply impactful, lasting change often unfolds gradually through regular practice and a willingness to meet yourself with patience and curiosity.
Like any practice, the more you're exposed to the energy, the more your body and nervous system become familiar. As that sense of familiarity and safety grows, many people find they're able to surrender more deeply, allowing for greater insight and transformation.
It's common in the early sessions to find yourself more in your mind, wondering if you're ‘doing it right’ or trying to make sense of what's happening. As trust grows and you become more comfortable surrendering to the experience, many people find they are able to relax more deeply, allowing the sessions to become richer and more expansive over time.

Experience healing through supportive group sessions or personalised 1:1 experiences
-
I currently offer in-person group sessions across multiple locations in Norwich.
These sessions are intentionally kept small to create a safe, intimate and supportive environment where you can fully relax into your own experience. There is no expectation to share, perform or have a particular outcome. Each person's journey is unique and you're encouraged to simply meet yourself exactly where you are.
While every session is deeply personal, practicing in a group can be incredibly powerful. Sharing a space with others often creates a stronger collective field, allowing many people to feel more supported in letting go, softening into the experience and connecting more deeply with themselves. Witnessing others in their own process can also remind us that we're not alone in our own healing, even though each journey unfolds differently.
Whether you're completely new or have experienced these practices before, group sessions offer an accessible way to explore this work within a welcoming community. Many people leave feeling lighter, more connected, grounded and present, with a greater sense of clarity, openness and inner awareness.

A space that is entirely yours.
Private 1:1 sessions offer a deeply personalised experience, giving us the time and space to work with exactly what you need in this moment. Rather than following a set group format, the session is shaped around you. Your intentions, your experiences and where you are in your journey.
Over two hours, we have the space to slow down and explore what has brought you here before moving into the experience itself. This might be breathwork, energy work, or a combination of both, depending on what feels most supportive for you. Throughout the session, I can offer more individual guidance, adapt the pace and approach as we go and offer personalised energetic support.
There is no need to perform, feel like you have to keep up with anyone else or fit your experience into a particular structure. You can take your time, go at your own pace and have the freedom to explore whatever arises, with dedicated support throughout.
1:1 work can be particularly powerful when you’re moving through a period of change, feeling stuck in a particular area of your life, wanting to go deeper into your healing journey, or simply knowing that you would benefit from having dedicated space to focus on yourself.
This is more than simply a private version of a group session. It is an opportunity to be truly met where you are, with the session held specifically for you.
Private 1:1 sessions are currently available at The Practice Rooms in Norwich and at Grove Farm Wellbeing near Aylsham.
More information -
Online Kundalini Activation sessions are held over Zoom and can offer the same experience as an in-person session, taken from the comfort of your own home.
Working with Kundalini energy isn't limited by physical distance. This work takes place within an energetic field, meaning I don't need to be physically in the room with you for the session to be effective. The intention, guidance and energetic connection remain the same whether we meet online or face-to-face.
For safety, I ask that your camera remains on throughout the session and is positioned so I can clearly see your torso and head. This allows me to observe your experience and work with your energy.
At the end of the session, we'll take time to gently integrate before coming together for an optional sharing circle. You're invited to share your experience, ask questions or simply listen to others, but there is never any pressure to speak. Your experience is your own, and however you choose to end the session is completely welcome.
If you choose to work with me 1:1, then each two-hour session includes time to connect beforehand, explore your intentions, answer any questions and create a safe container for your experience before moving into the activation itself. Afterwards, we'll allow time for integration and reflection, giving you the opportunity to discuss anything that arose during your session.
To ensure the best possible experience, you'll need:
A quiet, comfortable space where you won't be disturbed.
A yoga mat, blanket and pillow or any props that help you feel supported.
Connect using a device that has a camera
A stable internet connection.
A paid Spotify account so we can listen to the same music simultaneously, helping to create a seamless shared experience throughout the activation.
